Scope of Work
covers all fields related to water, wastewater collection and treatment, effluent re-use, dams, environmental impact assessments and transportation projects. Such scope encompasses technical assistance, feasibility studies, engineering designs, construction supervision and management, quality control, cost recovery systems setup, as well as, institutional strengthening and training.
Feasibility Stage:
Master Plan - Examination and assessment of environmental problems - Evaluation of the socio-economic conditions - Evaluation of the projected land use and Irrigation Water demand and Cropping Patterns - Study of existing utilities conditions - Development of technically feasible and least capital and operation solution - Development and recommendation of rate structures to repay the costs - Investment programs - Local / foreign costs - Soil and site investigations - Topographical survey. Design Stage:
Design criteria formulation - Preliminary design - Detailed design - Drawings and Technical Specifications - General and special conditions - Bill of Quantities - Cost estimates - Project Planning.
Tender Stage:
Issue of Tender - Tender evaluation - Assistance in contract negotiations.
Supervision Stage:
Review of shop drawings - Construction Inspection -Construction Management - Site Supervision - Quality assurance - Inspection of equipment - Inspection of materials - Progress control - Cash flow and financial reporting - Operation and Maintenance - Testing and Start up-operational assistance.
